(18.5.2022): Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Eastcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

  1. The Sea Surface Temperature (SST) over Tropical Pacific Ocean near the Equator and atmosphere phenomena reaches weak La Nina condition. According to the International Meteorological Agency, Numerical Weather prediction models are expected to remain weak La Nina level from now untilMay.
  2. Although the La Nina conditions occur at Pacific Ocean, Storm condition more frequently occur over the Andaman Sea and  Bay of Bengal, Easterly Waves, Untimely Rainfall conditions will be occur due to the impact of La Nina.
  3. La Nina Condition will be updated in time.
