29-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 175 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 45 Nautical miles West-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards across Northeastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and near South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy  over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and A few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Sri Lanka has reached over Comorin area. Weather is generally fair over the North Bay, a few cloud over the Westcentral Bay and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 19th November 2025: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw, (Southern and Eastern) Shan State, scattered in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Northern Shan States and isolated in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Bago, Taninthayi Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 6-8 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Shan States.
