SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Lower Sagaing Region, Eastern Shan and Kayah States, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay Region and Mon State, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region, Kachin, (Northern and Southern )Shan and Kayin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing, Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Putao (3.97)inches, Homalin (2.10)inches, Machanbaw (1.81) inches, Phyarpon (1.66)inches, Kyaukpyu (1.14) inches, Phyu (0.99)inch, Ramthlo (0.94)inch, Hakha (0.83)inch, Tongzan, Aunglan, Manaung and Okkan (0.71)inch each and Tamu (0.63)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak to moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 23rd June, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin and Chin States, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, scattered in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine and Kayin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States.
