29-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 175 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 45 Nautical miles West-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards across Northeastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and near South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy  over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and A few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and   Bay of Bengal.

 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 29th June, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing,  Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Shan, Chin and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Kachin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times  off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35-40)m.p.h.  Wave height will be about (9-12)feet off and along Myanmar Coast.
