29-11-2025:According to the observations at 15:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 150 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 65 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

 BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, yesterday's low pressure area over the Northeast Bay of Bengal now lies over the North Bay of Bengal still persists. It may further intensify into a depression during next (48) hours. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and  Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID  UNTIL EVENING OF THE 01st July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing,  Mandalay and  Magway Regions,   fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin and Kayah State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, and Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Bago  and Taninthayi Regions and  Kayin state. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -13)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
