29-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 175 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 45 Nautical miles West-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards across Northeastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and near South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy  over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and A few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing Region, scattered in Mandalay Region, fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing and Magway Regions, Southern Shan and kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Kachin and Rakhine States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Kawkareik (5.39)inches, Putao (4.73)inches, Mawlamyine (4.53)inches, Kyeikmayaw (4.49)inches, Paung (4.13)inches, Thandwe (3.82)inches, Thaton (3.70)inches, Hlaingbwe (3.54)inches, Mudon (3.35)inches and Hpan-an (3.31)inches. 

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal & adjoining areas of Odisha(India) still persists. It may further intensify into a depression during next (24) hours. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02nd July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Magway Region, Southern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally  heavyfalls Rakhine state and isolated heavyfalls in Kachin, Kayin and Mon states.
