BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal & adjoining areas of Odisha coast(India) still persists. It may further intensify into a depression during next (24) hours. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 02nd July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Magway Region, Southern Shan and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls Rakhine state and isolated heavyfalls in Kachin, Kayin and Mon states. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 -13)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
