BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea, South Bay and East central Bay and moderate elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 17th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, fairly widespread in Bago Region, Kachin, Shan and Chin States and widespread in the Remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfall in Taninthayi Region, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 - 10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5 – 7)feet in off and along Rakhine Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States.
