29-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 175 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 45 Nautical miles West-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards across Northeastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and near South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy  over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and A few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Naypyitaw, Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kayah State, scattered in Mandalay and Bago Regions, Kachin, NorthernShan and Chin States, fairly widespread in Ayeyarwady Region, (Southern and Eastern) Shan, Rakhine and Mon States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolatedheavyfalls in Mandalay Region. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Coco Island (2.24)inches, Gwa (2.13)inches, Zalun (1.85)inches, Natogyi (1.71)inches, Kawthaung  (1.62)inches, PaingKyone(1.18)inches, Kyaukmae (1.14)inches, Khayan (1.10)inches, Hmawbi(Agro-met) and Dawei(1.06)inches each and Pyinoolwin (1.02)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

STATE OF THE SEA:Squalls with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (8 - 10)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5 – 7)feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
