BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 18th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions and Kayah State, scattered in Upper Sagaingand Mandalay Regions, Kachin and Chin States, fairly widespread inBago Region, Shan and Rakhine States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate \elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (7 - 9)feet off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about (5 – 7)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Rakhine Coast.
