BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Kachin and Rakhine States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough sea are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts.Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (35)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (8 – 10) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon- Taninthayi Coasts and about (4-7)feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast.
