BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal area of West Bengal still persists. Monsoon is strong to vigorous over the Bay of Bengal and moderate over the Andaman Sea.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing and Magway Regions, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Kachin and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9– 11)feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Rakhine Coast and about (4-8)feet off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.
