SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Northern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Magway and Yangon Regions, Eastern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Rakhine State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Sittwe (7.68)inches, Thandwe (5.59)inches, Kyaukphyu (4.29)inches, Putao (2.92)inches, Pyinmana(Walgyi) and Shwekyin (2.88)inches each, Madauk (2.56)inches, Ann (2.28)inches, Taungkok and Paingkyone (2.25)inches each, Myauk U (1.97)inches, Maungdaw (1.92)inches, Shan-Ywar-Thit (1.87)inches, Kyiekdon (1.80)inches, Pyinmana and Hlaingbwe (1.78)inches each.
BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 31st July, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Kachin and Rakhine States.
