BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal now lies over Northwest Bay of Bengal & adjoining north Odisha coast (India) still persists. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 13th August, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scratted in Lower Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Naypytaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions,Kachin , Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Wave height will be about (9 –11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
