2-12-2025: According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal, North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) has weaken into a Depression now lies over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining the Westcentral Bay, North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) is centered at about 755 Nautical miles West of Coco Island(Myanmar), 70 Nautical miles North-Northeast of Puducherry (India) and 15 Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). It is likely continue to move slowly Southwestwards towards the North Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts, India and weaken gradually into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area. Weather is cloudy over the Northwest and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers have been scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw and Rakhine State and isolated heavyfalls in Upper Sagaing Region, Northern Shan and Kayin States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Taungkok (5.98)inches, Thandwe (4.37)inches, Paung Byin (3.42)inches, Muse (3.15)inches, Kataingti (3.10)inches, Myaungmya (2.99)inches, Belin (2.80)inches, Kyaukpyu (2.29)inches, Monyin (2.09) inches, Phyu (2.05)inches, Manaung (2.01)inches, Bago (1.97)inches, Laiway (1.82)inches, Tamu and Hpa-pun (1.61) inches each and Thipaw, Naypyitaw (Otarathiri) and Ngathaichaung (1.57)inches each.

BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (13:30)hrs M.S.T today, the low pressure area  over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha coast (India) has crossed North Odisha coast (India).Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 14th August, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States.
