BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 01st September, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Sagaing Region and Chin State, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region, Kachin and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Magway, Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls inMandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough seas will be experienced Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40)m.p.h. Sea will be moderate elsewhere in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (9 –12) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coasts and about ( 5– 8) feet off and along Rakhine Coast.
