SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Naypyitaw and Kayah State, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, scattered in Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Shan (North and South), Chin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy fall in Mandalay Region and isolated heavy fall in Kachin State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Putao (3.62)inches, Nyaung Oo (2.32)inches, Madaya(Agro-met) (2.17)inches, Homalin (1.65) inches, Coco Island (1.57)inches, Sinbyugyun (1.42)inches, Myauk U (1.38)inches and Mahlaing(Agro-met) (1.25)inches.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the West Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 6th October, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, Kachin, Shan (South and East) and Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan, Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavy fall in Upper Sagaing Region. STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
