SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, light rain has been isolated in Kachin State, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin and Kayah States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C) below January average temperature in Eastern Shan State, (2°C) above January average temperatures in Bago Region, Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and about January average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (3°C) in Mogoke, (4°C) each in Heho and Mongyang, (5°C) in Namsam, (6°C) each in Kyaukmae and Pyinoolwin and (7°C) each in Thipaw, Lashio, Kengtung, Hakha and Tiddim. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded was Putao (0.04)inch.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and generally fair elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 22nd January, 2020: Rain will be isolated in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Sagaing, Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4-6) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
