SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain have been scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and isolated in Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Kachin and Chin States, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (2°C)above February average temperatures in Lower Sagaing Region and Northern Shan State, (3°C)above February average temperature in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State and about February average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (7°C) each in Hakha and Pinlaung and (8°C)each in Namsam, Loilin, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Gangaw (0.20) inch, Homalin (0.16) inch and Kalay and Mingin (0.08) inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Southwest Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 27th February, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing Region, Kachin, Northern Shan and Chin States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuation of likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
