BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 25th September, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, fairly widespread in Yangon Region,  Shan, Chin and Kayah States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavy falls in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate in Myanmar Waters. Wave height will be about (5– 8) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Rakhine State.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 25thSeptember, 2020: Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (80%).

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 25thSeptember, 2020:  One or two rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (100%).

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 25thSeptember, 2020:  Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).
