BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy over the Southwest Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 17th May, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region and Kachin, Mon States, fairly widespread inUpper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon,Ayeyarwady Regions and Northern Shan, Rakhine, KayinStates, scattered in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay Regions and (Southern and Eastern) Shan,Kayah States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kachin State and isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region and Mon State. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (6-8) feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.
