BAY INFERENCE: . Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong to vigorous elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwaddy, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin State. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with rough seas will be in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Squall with rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph.
