BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong to vigorous elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations (18:30)MST today, the Tropical Storm , ' Mulan 'over South China sea now lie over Gulf of Tonkin center at about 180 miles East of Hanoi, Vietnam. It is forecast to move to Northwest ward and cross upper Vietnam coasts during next (24)hrs.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 11th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will befairly widespread in Naypyitaw, LowerSagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and ShanState and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Rakhine, MonStatesand isolated heavyfalls in Ayeryarwady Region and Kayin State. STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with rough seas will be in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Squall with moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (7-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.
