BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and strong elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 11th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kachin, Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Mon State and isolated heavyfalls in Rakhine, Kayin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

SPECIAL FEATURES: According to the observations (05:30)MST today, the Tropical Storm , ' Mulan over the  Gulf of  Tonkin has crossed near Quang Ninh, of Upper  Vietnam coast today early morning. . It is forecast to move North-Northwest ward  and weaken as a Tropical depression .

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasionally squall with rough seas will be in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (40) mph. Squall with  moderate to rough seas are likely at times in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (9-12) feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast and (7-9) feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:Continuations of increase of rain in Shan, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
