BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate to strong over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.
SPECIAL FEACTURES: According to the observations at (18:30)hrs MST today, the Land Depression near Hanoi, Vietnam weakened into a Low Pressure Area over the boundary of Vietnam and Laos. It is forecast continue to move West-Southwestwards and reach to Eastern Myanmar Areas as a wave tonight.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL AFTERNOON OF THE 12th August, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and Chin State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally heavyfalls in Kayin, Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is (100%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (30-35) mph. Wave height will be about (7-11) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
