BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (17:30)hrs M.S.T today, the Cyclonic Storm” MANDOUS” over Southwest Bay of Bengal has moved West-Northwestwards. It is centered at about (640) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island, (740) Nautical miles West-Southwest of Hainggyigyun (Myanmar), (190) Nautical miles East-Northeast of Jaffna (Sri Lanka) and (245) Nautical miles Southeast of Chennai(India). Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 9th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and isolated in Bago Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35) mph. Wave height will be about (8-10) feet off and along Myanmar Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States.
