BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (06:30) hrs M.S.T today, theCyclonic Storm “MANDOUS” over North Tamilnaduand adjoining South Andhra Pradesh coasts (India) between Puducherry and Sriharikota, near Mahabalipuram has moved Northwestwards and downgraded as a Deep Depression. It is forecast likely to weakenas a Land Depression during next (6) hrs.Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 10th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper sagaing, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Chin, Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times off and along Myanmar Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (30-35) mph.Wave height will be about (7-9) feet off and along Myanmar Coast.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
