SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon, Taninthayi Regions and Mon State. Weather has been generally fair in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan State and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) below December average temperature in Northern Shan State, (2°C) above December average temperatures in Upper Sagaing, Magway, Bago Regions and Southern Shan State and (3°C) to (4°C) above December average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Ayeyarwady Region and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were (5°C) each in Kyaukmae and Hakha, (6°C) each in Namsam, Mongyang, Tiddim, Pyinoolwin and Mogoke and (7°C) in Heho. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (0.04) inch each in Yangon(Mayangone) and Dawei.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Westcentral Bay and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 11th December, 2022: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Yangon, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing, Bago Regions and Kachin, Southern Shan, Chin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Sagaing Region and Kachin, Shan, Chin States.
