29-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 785 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 135 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 80 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Taninthayi Region and Mon State, fairly widespread in Kayin State, scattered in Upper Sagaing and Bago Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan and Kayah States, isolated in Mandalay Region, (Southern and Eastern) Shan and Rakhine States. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (7°C) above May normal temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region andShan State, (5°C) to (6°C) above May normal temperatures in Lower Sagaing, Mandalay and Magway Regions, Chin and KayahStates, (3°C) to (4°C) above May normal temperatures in Bago and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin and Mon States, (2°C) above May normal temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant day temperatures were (46°C) each in Chauk and Gangaw, (45°C) each inNyaungOo and Pauk, (44°C) each in Vaar, Kalewa, Mingin, Shwebo, Monywa, Kyemone, Myinmu, Mandalay, Myingyan, and Pakokku.
