29-11-2025:According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” over the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Srilanka has moved Northwards. It is centered at about 785 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 135 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 80 Nautical miles North-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely to move North-Northwestwards and reach over Southwest Bay of Bengal (near the North Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India).Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay and a few cloud to partly cloudy  elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL  EVENING OF THE 26th May, 2019:  Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, Chin, Kayin and Mon States, fairly widespread in Sagaing , Mandalay and Ayeyarwady Regions, Northern Shan and Rakhine States, scattered in Naypyitaw ,Bago, Yangon,Regions ,Kachin and( Southern , Eastern) Shan,Isolated in Magway Region and Kayah State and isolated heavy falls in Rakhine State. Degree of certainty is (80%).

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (4 - 6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
