29-11-2025:According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Cyclonic Storm “DITWAH” has crossed near Trincomalee(Srilanka) and moved North- Northwestwards. It is centered at about 795 Nautical miles West-Southwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 175 Nautical miles South-Southeast of Puducherry (India) and 45 Nautical miles West-Northwestwards of Trincomalee(Srilanka). It is likely continue to move North-Northwestwards across Northeastern parts of Sri Lanka Coast and adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal and reach over the North Tamil Nadu and near South Andhra Pradesh coasts, India.   Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy  over the Southwest Bay and Westcentral Bay and A few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24) hours, Southwest monsoon has advanced into the whole country. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions, scattered in Naypyitaw, Lower Sagaing Region, (Northern and Southern)Shan and Kayah States, fairly widespread in Rakhine State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavy falls in Mon State. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Belin (3.54)inches, Mawlamyine (3.39)inches, Yay (2.95)inches, Dawei (2.87)inches, Thaton (2.68)inches, Kyungyangon (2.64)inches, Paung (2.60)inches, Hpa-an (2.55)inches, Kamamaung (2.35)inches, Myeik (2.24)inches, Gwa, Mudon and Launglon (2.17)inches each, Paing Kyone(1.97)inches, Labutta (1.89)inches, Kalaywa and Kyeikmayaw (1.86)inches each and Maubin (1.81)inches.

BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and moderate elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
