BAY INFERENCE:  According to the observations at (06:30)hrs M.S.T today, the depression over the Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwestwards and it is centered at about (50) miles South-Southeast of Digha and (55)miles Southeast of Blasore (India). It is continue to move West-Northwestwards.Monsoon is vigorous over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 07thAugust, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Lower Sagaing Region, fairly widespread in Mandalay Region and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with regionally heavyfalls in Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions and Rakhine, Kayin and Mon States and isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Taninthayi Region and Chin State. Degree of certainty is (100%).

STATE OF THE SEA:  Frequent squalls with rough to very rough seas will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40-45) m.p.h. Wave height will be about (10– 15)feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Strong monsoon.
