SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, weather has been partly cloudy in Ayeyarwady Region, Chin and Kayin States, rain or thundershowers have been widespread in Eastern Shan State, fairly widespread in Kachin State, scattered in Lower Sagaing and Mandalay Regions, (Northern and Southern)Shan, Rakhine and Mon States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were Yangon(Northern Dagon) (0.83)inch, Kyaukhtu (0.78)inch, Myintkyina (0.75)inch, Saw (0.56) inch, Heho (0.51)inch, Kengtung (0.48)inch and Mudon and Theinzayet (0.43)inch each.
BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the Central Bay and partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 5th October, 2019: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Sagaing Region, Kachin and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States, scattered in Mandalay and Taninthayi Regions, Southern Shan and Chin States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (80%).
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (3–6) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
