According to the observations at (13:30)hrs MST today, the Severe Tropical 
Storm “Noru” over Vietnam has weaken into a Tropical Storm  “Noru” and 
now lies over Southern Laos still persists. It is likely continue to move 
Westwards and weaken gradually into a Land Depression over Thailand.
Due to the Tropical Storm “Noru”, rain or thundershowers will be fairly
 widespread to widespread in Naypyitaw,Magway, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady, 
Taninthayi Regions and Shan, Rakhine,Kayah, Kayin, Mon States with 
likelihood of regionally and isolated heavyfalls with strong wind during from 
today noon to (2.10.2022). 
Squall with rough seas are likely at times Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and 
along Mon-TaninthayiCoasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach (35)mph. 
Wave height will be about (8-10) feet in Deltaic, Gulf of Mottama, off and along 
Mon-Taninthayi Coasts.

People should be aware the heavy rainfall with strong wind, the natural disasters such as flash flood andlandslide in the hilly areas and near small rivers and inland water transport and domestic flight.
