24-8-2026 According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the low pressure area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal and North Odisha, India has reached over the North Coastal Odisha and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal and the Northwest Bay of Bengal Still persists. It is likely to move Northwestwards and across North Odisha and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal, India during next 24 hours. Monsoon is storng over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bangel. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bangel.

According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the North Bay of Bengal and West Bengal, India - Bangladesh coasts has moved Northwestwards over the Northwest Bay of Bengal, Coastal West Bengal,
india and adjoining areas of Bangladesh still persists. It is likely to continue to move Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression across West Bengal, India during next 12hrs.
