BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 5:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal has moved Northwest wards. It is crossing the North Andhra Pradesh and adjoining South Odisha Coasts between Visakhapatnam and Gopalpur close to Southwest Kalingapatnam (India).Monsoon is moderate  over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 24th September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be isolated in Upper Sagaing, Kachin, Kayah and Shan States, scattered in Bago, Magway, Lower Saging, Rakhine States and fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Mandalay Region and Chin State widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi  Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Squalls with rough sea are likely at time in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30-35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coast. Squalls with moderate to rough seas are likely at times Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 30 mph. Wave height will be about 8-10 feet in Gulf of Mottama, off and along Mon-Taninthayi Coast.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS:  Continuations of thundery activities in Central Myanmar area.
