BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over North Andaman Sea and Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the the South Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 7th April 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions. Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Mandalay, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Kayah,  Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 7th April 2026:                               Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 60%.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 7th April 2026:                                     Partly cloudy.

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 7th April 2026:                                            Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 80%.
