Depression Condition
According to the observations at 13:30 hrs MST today, the Well Marked Low Pressure Area over the Northwest Bay of Bengal, West Bengal Coastal, India and adjoining Bangladesh has moved Northwestwards and intensify into a Depression over the West Bengal, india. It is centered at about 315 miles West- Northwest of Sittwe (Myanmar), 5 miles Northwest of Canning and 25 miles Southeast of Kolkata, India.
It does not intend to move towards Myanmar coasts at the present stage and therefore the Depression is coded as yellow stage.

The Depression is located at Latitude 22.3 degree North and Longitude 88.6 degree East, centre pressure of Depression is 1000 hPa and maximum wind speed near the center is 30 miles per hour at 13:30 hrs MST today.

It is likely continue to move Northwestwards and may cross interior region of West Bengal, india and may reach Jharkhand, india during next 24 hours. Occasional squalls with rough sea will be experienced of and along in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-11 feet in Deltaic, off and along Rakhine Coasts.
