BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is weak over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy over the Southeast Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 2nd October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States, fairly widespread in Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Rakhine, Northern Shan States, scattered in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Southern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Kachin State. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in kachin State. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Continuations of thundery activities in Deltaic Myanmar area.

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 2nd October 2026:   Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is (60%).

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 2nd October 2026:        Isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 80%.
