BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy over the North Andaman Sea and Southwest Bay of Bengal and a few cloud over the South Andaman Sea and  elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 10th October 2026:  Weather will be partly cloudy in Rakhine and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States. Rain or thundershowers will be fairy widespread in Taninthayi  Region, scattered in Bago Region and Southern Shan State and  isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in     Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and  Kayah, Chin, Southern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Scattered rain or thundershower in  Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States. 

FORECAST FOR NAYPYITAW AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 10th October 2026:    Likelihood of isolated rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 60%.

FORECAST FOR YANGON AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 10th October 2026:   Possibility of isolated light rain or thundershowers. Degree of certainty is 40%.

FORECAST FOR MANDALAY AND NEIGHBOURING AREA FOR 10th October 2026:     Partly cloudy.

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR WEEKEND: Likelihood of isolated light rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw. Scattered rain or thundershowers in Yangon Region and weather will be partly cloudy in Mandalay Region.
