BAY INFERENCE: Monsoon is moderate over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Bago Regions and Kayin, Mon States, scattered in Ayeyarwady Regions and Southern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood isolated heavyfalls in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Mon, Rakhine,  Southern Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Increase of rain in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady,Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon States.
