BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at 05:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over the North Andaman Sea has reach over the North Andaman Sea and adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal (Near the offshore area of the Deltaic, Myanmar). It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify gradually into a Depressionover the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, during next 24 hours and into a Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal ,during next 48 hours. Continuing to move West-Northwestwards and it is likely to reach Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal near South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh, India during next 72 hours. Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak to moderate elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 20th September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Nayptitaw, Bago Region and Kachin, Kayah, Eastern Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Upper Sagaing, Ayeyarwady Regions. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occasional squalls with rough sea will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts. 

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States.
