BAY INFERENCE:           According to the observations at 17:30 hrs MST today, the Low Pressure Area over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Andaman Sea (Near the offshore area of the Deltaic, Myanmar) still persists.It is likely to move West-Northwestwards and intensify gradually into a Depressionover the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, during next 24 hours and into a Deep Depression over the Westcentral Bay of Bengal ,during next 48 hours. Continuing to move West-Northwestwards and it is likely to reach Westcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Northwest Bay of Bengal near South Odisha-North Andhra Pradesh, India during next 72 hours.Monsoon is strong over the Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal and weak elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 21st September 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered in Naypyitaw, Kayah State, fairly widespread in Bago, Upper Sagaing Regions and Kachin and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of regionally  heavyfalls in Ayeyarwady Region and isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing,  Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Occassional squalls with rough sea will be experienced off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squall may reach 35 mph. Wave height will be about 9-12 feet in off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated heavyfalls in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Mon, Rakhine States.
