26-10-2026 According to the observations at 10:30 hrs MST today, the Deep Depression over the Eastcentral Bay of Bengal and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal has moved westwards and further intensified into a Cyclonic Storm “ARNAB”. It is centered at about 270 Nautical miles West-Northwest of Coco Island(Myanmar), 350 Nautical miles East- Southeast of Visakhapatnam and 395 Nautical miles East-Southeast of Kakinada, India. Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

A moderate earthquake of magnitude (5.4) Richter Scale with its epicenter inside Myanmar (about (17)miles east of Gangaw), latitude 22.18°N, longitude 94.40°E, depth (69) kilometers, about (61)miles southeast of Hakha seismological observatory was recorded at (11)hr (44)min (36)sec M.S.T on 8th December, 2020.
