BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and North Bay, South Bay of Bengal and a few cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.ent

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 9^th April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Chin States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Lower Sagaing Regions and Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Magway, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, (Southern and Easthern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Mandalay, Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Northern Shan States.
