BAY INFERENCE: Weather is cloudy over the South Andaman Sea and South Bay of Bengal, generally fair over the North Andaman Sea and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 19th April 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be scattered Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin, Northern Shan States, isolated in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing Regions and Chin, (Southern and Eastern) Shan States. Degree of certainty is 80%. Weather will be generally fair in Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions and partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Mandalay, Upper Sagaing Regions and (Northern and Eastern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.
STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight increase of day temperatures in Mandalay, Lower Sagaing, Magway Regions.
