BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud to partly cloudy over the Andaman Sea and  the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 2^nd May 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Kachin, (Northern and Sovthern)Shan States, fairly widespread in  Naypyitaw,  Mandalay Region, scattered in  Bago, Magway, Sagaing Regions and  Kayah, Chin, Rakhine,  Eastern Shan States and isolated in the remaining Region and States. Degree of certainty is 80%.

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in  Kachin, Kayah,  Rakhine, (Northern and Southern)Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered to farily widespread rain or thundershowers in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Magway, Sagaing Regions and Kachin, Chin, Rakhine, Shan States.
