BAY INFERENCE: Weather is a few cloud over the North Bay and Westcentral Bay of Bengal and partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 12th October 2026: Weather will be partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State. Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Naypyitaw,  Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan, fairly widespread in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway Regions and Kayin, Mon, Eastern Shan States, scattered in Rakhine State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood of isolated rain in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago,Magway;  Ayeyarwady,   . Degree of certainty is 80%.  

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw,  Yangon, Mandalay,  Bago, Magway, Lower Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon,Rakhine,  Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of scattered rain or thundershower in Naypyitaw, Yangon, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, Shan States.
