SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED FROM YESTERDAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T TODAY MORNING 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past 24 hours, weather have been partly cloudy in Kayah, Rakhine and Eastern Shan States. Rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Magway Region, scattered in Naypyitaw, Kachin, Mon States, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Bago, Upper Sagaing, Taninthayi Regions and Southern Shan State and widespread in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. The highest day temperatures were 37.0°C in Sagaing, 36.9°C in Belin, 36.8°C in Bago, 36.5°C each in Khayan, Phyarpon, Dawei, Hpa-an, Mudon,  36.1°C in Magway and 36.0°C each in Pakokku, Shwebo and Mawlamyine on 13-10-2026. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were 2.24 inches in Zalun, 2.22 inches in Ngazun, 2.05 inches each in Yangon(Kaba-aye) and Patheingyi(Shwesaryan), 1.81 inches in Yangon(Mingaladon), 1.80 inches in Thabaung, 1.57 inches in Okkan, 1.55 inches in Okpho, 1.54 inches in Naungcho, 1.42 inches in Kyaunggon and 1.26 inches in Hpa-an.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. 

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 15th October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions nad Kayin State, fairly widespread in Yangon, Mandalay, Bago Regions and Chin, Mon, Northern Shan States, scattered in Naypyitaw, Magway Region and Southern Shan State and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 100%. 

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady, Taninthayi Regions and Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Rakhine, Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena.  

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 5-7 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Kayin, Mon States.
