BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL NOON OF THE 20th October 2026: Rain or thundershowers will be widespread in Taninthayi Region, fairly widespread in Mandalay, Magway Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States, scattered in Yangon, Bago, Ayeyarwady Regions and isolated in the remaining Regions and States with likelihood isolated heavyfalls in Taninthayi Region. Degree of certainty is 100%.  

THE CONDITION OF CUMULONIMBUS CLOUD: The Cumulonimbus clouds are developing in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Magway, Sagaing, Ayeyarwady ,Taninthayi Regions and Kayin, Chin, Mon, Rakhine, (Northern and Southern) Shan States. The area along the Cumulonimbus clouds movement, the weather phenomena such as strong winds accompanied with rain, thunder, lightning and hail may occur and therefore it is recommended to be aware in advance these phenomena. 

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be slight to moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about 4-6 feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of increase of rain in Taninthayi Region and Chin State.
